COMMENTS

The WFA played a single season in 2002. It was yet another league formed from teams departing the doomed WAFL. The Voodoo Dolls never fielded a team, while the Force and the Enforcers shut down during the season and forfeited the remainder of their games. The Dixie Blues beat the Vipers in the first, and only, Women's Association Bowl 68-20, on January 8th, 2003. The league shut down soon after. The Orlando Fire and a revived Tampa Bay Force were set to join the WPFL for 2003, but never made it. The only team to survive were the Dixie Blues, who played independently before joining the IWFL in 2004.

I have plenty of logos for this league, but no information on the actual helmets for the Crusaders or Enforcers. I believe the Crusaders use black helmet with yellow mask & stripes, without any logo. The Steel Magnolias may have used a silver helmet. The helmet shown here was drawn from web site graphics. Any help completing this page is much appreciated.
