OTHER TEAMS
I have no idea whether the following helmets were ever used on the field.
Some of these helmets are no doubt prototypes for the teams above, while others
are for proposed teams that never fielded a squad for whatever reason. Still others belong to
teams that left for rival leagues before the first season even began.

COMMENTS
The WAFL played at least one season in 2001. It was an
ambitious undertaking, as
evidenced by the variety of helmet designs that were never worn. The WAFL was troubled from
the start with teams moving, merging and changing names long before the first game. Many of these
teams did survive the experience, however, and ended up playing in the WAFC, AFWL, and WFA in 2002.
I still need help with this league and any information anyone can provide would be
very appreciated. I'm not sure if I have them all, or if the names I do have are correct. Many of
the renderings on this page were inspired by concepts on the league's web pages, which are now long gone.
