COMMENTS
The WAFC consisted mostly of west coast teams departing from the WAFL. The league played a single fall season, beginning in September and completed when the Sacramento Sirens defeated the Arizona Caliente in the December 7th championship. Most of the WAFC teams moved to the IWFL or the WPFL for spring 2003.
The WAFC has now become the Women's American Football Council, an advisory body for the sport of women's professional football.
