COMMENTS
The SFL planned a four team mini-season in the Spring (surprise) of 2000, known as "Festival 2000". The "Festival" would come in the form of live entertainment before and after the games. After only two weeks, the festival was over for the SFL. The league proclaimed it would expand to eight teams for a full schedule in 2001, but the impending XFL put an end to the league for good. Vince McMahon actually ruined 3 leagues (see the RFL page).
There may have been some other helmet variations for these teams. Any information is greatly appreciated.
