COMMENTS
The AFWL disbanded after one season in 2002. The Aftershock and Sunfire will join the WPFL for 2003. The other teams appear to have folded. The AFWL is one of the leagues which formed from the ashes of the WAFL. The Rose City Wildcats and Seattle Warbirds, also WAFL survivors, were announced as a part of the season but never joined. The Sacramento Gold Rush never managed to field a team and folded before the fall kickoff.
There may have been some other helmet variations for these teams. Any information is greatly appreciated.
